The words 'yes' and 'ineffable.' The sound of my niece's laughter. The Time Traveler's Wife. The UK Wildcats. My 'fabulous' red couch. Vegan chocolate. Riding with the windows rolled down. The lush green of the outfield. The Rokeby Venus. My dog, Hank. Baking from scratch. The smell of tomatoes and oregano wafting through the house.
Least favorite things: sharks, paperclips, narrow-mindedness, people who talk but don't listen, people who can't agree to disagree, impatience.
I'm 33 and as most people, I'm many things...pagan...vegetarian...single...allergic to polyester. I never outgrew the habit of reading everything I can get my hands on - there is so much to learn and so very little time. I love kids, but don't have any of my own. I enjoy Harry Potter fanfiction more than the actual books and will read pretty much any pairing. I'm a good cook, but baking is more my passion. I'm pro-choice, anti-death penalty, and decidedly not conservative. I am a rape survivor who refuses to be ashamed.
